Firstly and foremost, a big thank you goes to our outgoing committee from 2013. Commitment and passion kept our little club going last year along with the hard work everyone on the committee put in. We didn’t have many teams but what we did have, was outstanding. Our only 3 teams in the competition rounds made us proud to be Leichhardt Juniors. We welcome new members to the committee for 2014.

History was made by the election Ms Lani Sinclair becoming the first female President for Leichhardt Juniors for 2014.  To me, and all our female collegues in the club, this is the beginning of new things for the future.  Phillip Taylor has been a long time President of the club opting to accept the position of Vice President as he did last year.  Phillip is a asset to the club and will be greatly appreciated for his knowledge which I am sure Lani will also benefit from.

We also welcome our new Secretary, Daniela Mule and Assistant Secretary Lauren Jenkins. Frank Inverso returns to his position as Treasurer and I return as Club Registrar.  We still need more people to fill positions on the committee so if you are interested, please contact any of the people above.  We are on the lookout for extra people to manage our sponsorships, advertising and marketing.

Here is our new Committee so far for 2014:

President:  Lani Sinclair  president@leichhardtjuniors.org.au

Let's pull in 2014 and make it one of the best years ever for Leichhardt Juniors!!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
