JUNIORS REPORT - ROUND 2

Under 7s – No report

Under 8 Orange – No report

Under 11 – No report

Under 9 Orange:

In round 2 the under 9 Orange side took on the under 9 Concord Burwood Wolves (Silver) at Goddard Park, Concord. Our boys played a fantastic game, managing to keep the Robbie Farrah Challenge champions to just 3 tries. At full time we had a score of 18 - 6, with our only try being scored by Max.

Our junior boys had a great start to the season in round 1 beating Holy Cross Gold 22-16 and should all be very proud of themselves and their efforts to carry this form in to round 2. Ashtyn and Connor took out joint man of the matches this week as there was no way anyone could split them.  Ashtyn and Connor both played a full game and should be very proud of their efforts in both defence and attack.

Our Under Orange 9 team are eagerly awaiting round 3.         (Lauren Jenkins, Manager)

Under 8 White:

Another great game from our boys. Under 8 White played another outstanding game, again winning 7 tries to 2 against Balmain PCYC. Daniel scoring 2 tries Finn 1 Anthony 1 and Damien scoring 3 tries and taking out Man of the Match. Our captain Adam playing well and also celebrating his birthday. Max also running an outstanding 80m before being tackled before the line. Finns tackling is always outstanding with try saving tackles. Leonardo and Sebastian doing some great tackles and run ups. Well done to Anthony scoring his first try and a big welcome to Romeo joining our team and playing his first game. Great game to our boys who keep improving game by game.  (Don Rulli, Manager)

Under 14

What a FANTASTIC game!!! Berala Bears were the 1st Division Premiers in the Canterbury Bankstown Competition 2012and had at least 2 forwards and the fullback that weighed more than 100kg.  The boys defended like CHAMPIONS and when we had the ball, cut the Berala Bears defence to ribbons. Tries to Laurence Zarounis, Symy Despinidis, Roy Serhan and Sebastian Martinez. Awards for Defence include Thomas (the Tank Engine) Baldacci, Phoebus Ioannou and Tom Nguyen.....AMAZING, absolutely amazing. Next time we meet, with more possession and a few less mistakes, we will beat this team by 3 tries.                 (Frank Kemp, Parent)
