Our Under 8 White team had a great game on Sunday vs Dundas Shamrocks yellow. Finn (3), Daniel (1), Jordan (1) and Damien (2) all scoring magnificent tries. With good skills and sidesteps we managed to defeat the opposition 7 tries to 2. Finn, Damien and Daniel also kicking conversions. Everyone played so well it was rewarding for everyone involved. Jordyn Daley was captain for the day in a match which would be his first and last with Juniors. Jordyn leaves us to move to the Central Coast. We wish him the best for the future - he will be missed by the team. The players welcomed new player Anthony Galluzzo to the team who made an impressive impact on the game. Coach Damien wanted to mention that the coach from Dundas Shamrocks Yellow showed true sportsmanship towards the team and had a great attitude and love for the game.

Great work from our team with coach Damien and trainer Mario doing a great job on and off the field. Well done boys.                                        Don Rulli (Manager)

UNDER 11s - Junior Wall Report - Remember the Champions!!

Yesterday was a tough day at the office for the Junior Wall.  We played our first game in Division 1 and it was a solid loss vs last years U10 grand finalist - Concord Burwood by 50 - NIL.

Worst defeat in this teams history (over the last 4 yrs).

It is not a score-line we are proud of and it is not the Junior Wall we know.  We were out played because we didn’t want to play and began to not want to tackle, tackle and tackle.

Special mention to Harrison Henson as Man of Match and Alex Campbell, Malachi Matoe and Dylan Cowin who tackled their hearts out.....

What we did admire was the way the team still tried to the bitter end, even at 30, 40 nil, they were still making tackles on the try line to stop Concord Burwood.

After the game, the boys heard from Coach Pete that they were to forget about how they were supposed to tackle and support each other.  We then reminded them they are still champions – and were presented with an inaugural Trophy from Juniors Club for Team of Year 2012.  I will have a trophy at next weeks game and we will share it across the families during the year - so when your boys see it or hear it - remind them anything is possible if they keep putting in the effort........it will make a difference ( remember U9 GF to U10 GF).                                 Frank Inverso (Manager)

UNDER 14’s

After beating Penhurst 4 tries to 3 in the trial match 2 weeks ago the boys were expecting a tough game on Saturday. After a try off the kickoff in the opening 2 minutes it was clear that Juniors had different ideas. Penshurst was utterly devastated by the Juniors attack with Symy Despinidis, Sebastian (Seb) Martinez scoring 3 tries each, Laurence Zarounis scoring 2 tries, and the big prop Jaye Manoa Laloulu crashing over for his first try of the season. The defence was rock solid even against the mountainous Number 10 from Penshurst with Thomas Baldacci, Marty Tsiamis and Dylan Wyeth smothering their attack.                                                                Submitted by Frank Kemp (Parent)
