GIANTS LOSE TO FREMANTLE

After coming off a big win the week before, the Giants knew they were going to be in for a tough match. The high intensity of the game was set early by both sides but Fremantles ability to complete sets was the difference on the day. The Giants were uncharacteristically forcing passes in their own half which lead to handling errors and a very poor completion rate.

Coach Mick Smith was still happy with some elements of the Giants performance saying "considering the amount of time we spent without the ball i think we defended well", "if we can controll the game and play our style of football the wins will come".

Frank Matthewman had a strong game in centres and Nathen Searle lead the forwards.

Reserve Grade lost 24 - 14 and Womens OzTag lost 18-0

This week the Giants are away against the Willagee Bears at Webber Reserve, Willagee.
