ISAAC THOMAS' 200TH FIRST GRADE GAME
ISAAC THOMAS’ 200th FIRST GRADE GAME
This weekend at George Burnett we celebrate Isaac’s 200th first grade game for the club when he leads the team out against the Fremantle Roosters.
Isaac started playing first grade for South Perth in 1999 as a 17 year old, while still playing under 18s, and reaches this milestone 16 years later. 'Ike' is only the second Lions player to achieve this tremendous milestone.
In 2008 and 2009 he played for the WA Reds in the NRL Jim Beam/Bundaberg Cup in over 30 matches and has been a regular senior state team player.
Isaac is South Perth’s most decorated player with five first grade premierships and has represented the club as captain in 2007, 2013 and 2014.
Also, he has won seven SPRL Most Outstanding Player awards, three WARL Ken Allen medals and was the inaugural winner of the Red Medal as the Best and Fairest for the WA Reds in 2008.
Congratulations to Isaac on this outstanding achievement. Let’s get down to the club on Saturday to support our teams and help Isaac celebrate his big day.
