Coaches profile:: Emma Currey

Emma has been such a wonderful addition to our Senior club in 2018 - learning AFL for the first time this year, she has fallen in love with the sport after playing hockey for 16 years.

Emma jumped in at any chance she could throughout this year to assist Ari with the Under 17 girls in her spare time. She will bring a really caring & passionate nature to our Under 11 Girls program as she did coaching junior girls hockey, which is so important as these girls learn new skills, game sense & most importantly have fun at training and game days.

Emma is currently studying to be a Primary School teacher and her love for footy is evident in that she's began working at AFL Queensland to learn more and more about the game.

Moving to Australia from England she's excited to be a part of the best game in the country!

The club wishes to thank Kyla for volunteering her time to help make our great club even greater.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.

We would just like to remind everyone that we need to support our club umpires. It would be great if everyone could recognize their efforts at the end of the games.
