Milestones
It has been great to see so many players in the Senior, Youth and Junior sides who have reached significant milestones this year.   Well done to you all!

Achievements
Congratulations to Jai Kennealy who was selected in the Under 17 State side and played in Hobart under extremely cold conditions. Great job Jai!!

Hall of Fame
On Saturday our senior groups wore the special heritage jersey in their win against Yeronga. The jersey and the hall of fame induction is about paying respects to those who built our club.

A very big congratulations to Lenny Phillips who was the 38th Member to be inducted in the Springwood Pumas Hall of Fame. Lenny has been at the Springwood AFC for many years and has been involved as a player and coach during that time. A fantastic achievement and well deserved.

Clothing
Puma Apparel is available for sale most training nights from the bar.  We have shorts, socks and polos available and have re-ordered the extremely popular SAFC Hoodie in some larger sizes which. These will be available in the coming weeks.  There are smaller sizes available now if you would like to purchase one.

Kicking High Cafe
Most of you would have sampled some of the fantastic food from the new 'Kicking High' Cafe.   The cafe is open training nights and game days.  Grab yourself a coffee, lunch, dinner or some takeaway.  The food is delicious!!

Bar Hours
The bar is run on a volunteer basis and therefore at times, in particular during junior and youth games, may not be open. This is not run in conjunction with the Cafe so if there is no-one serving at the bar, you can assume that it is closed. Thanks for your understanding.

Function Room Hire
Did you know that our club is available for hire for private functions?  If you have a function coming up, why not consider using our new look clubhouse.
For enquiries contact Janette Hickman on 0422 414 134 or nette64@optusnet.com.a

Wet Weather
At times, training and games may be cancelled due to ground closures.  Updates will be provided on both Facebook pages so be sure to like them and monitor them during wet weather.

Volunteers
Our football club is run purely by volunteers.  Everyone you see racing around doing what they do is for the love of our club……...nothing more!  We are always looking for more help so if you would like to help out in any way please put up your hand - it's extremely rewarding!
