TIGER'S Presentation Night 2010

The Tweed Coast Tigers Football Club held it’s Presentation Night on Saturday at the Pottsville Crown Casino (aka Bowls Club) and with the dress code of dinner jacket and cocktail dress everyone made a huge effort with the Tigers ladies giving the wags from the Brownlow a run for their money, a fantastic time was had by all who attended.

With the Tigers ticking all the boxes this year and taking home all the medals and trophies from the Summerland League including the 2010 Premiership the Presentation Night was always going to be special.

With the dulcet tones of Benny on mike as MC, the evening ran like clockwork and while the amber fluid was abundant and the meal was great the awards were the obvious highlight of the evening.

Speeches from outgoing Club President Col Richards, Coach Shane Shallue and Captain Jai Purcell were all warmly received, and the best award speech of the night had to go to Bolty for his acceptance of the Players Player from the Club’s No.1 Fan John.
