Melbourne University Lacrosse Club was established in 1883 and is the oldest continually operational lacrosse club in the world.

Our club competes in the Lacrosse Victoria competition and is the only university lacrosse club in Victoria. We have two senior men's teams (Division 1 and Division 3) and two senior women's teams (A Grade and B Grade).

Melbourne University Lacrosse Club is a very social club, with plenty of events including an annual trivia night, cocktail party and other university based social activities. We also take part in an annual Intervarsity competition against Adelaide University, taking turns to host the competition.

We run a junior program in the Brunswick region at several primary schools and seconadary colleges as well as at Melbourne High School which currently fields one Under 17 team and two Under 15 teams.  The schools we run programs for are:
Brunswick South West Primary School, Brunswick North Primary School, Brunswick North West Primary School and St Joseph's Primary School.

In more recent times we have also started some lacrosse clinics at Brunswick Secondary School and plan to expand this to all year levels. This years junior program includes a primary school aged iPlay Lax which is held on Saturday and Sunday mornings 9am to 10am at the home grounds on Park Street Brunswick near the corner of Dollman and Park Streets.

The current iPlayLax program started on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October and will continue for four weeks. Refer to our Juniors page for the remainder of the program dates.
