Round 11 Review
Our Second Grade Men kicked off the weekend action, with a Friday night game under lights against the Belconnen Magpies at Kingston Oval. In the end, the Magpies were too good for the Demons, taking out the win 8.11.59 to 3.4.22. The Demons fought hard, especially in the third quarter, with goals from Patrick Sharp, James Williams and Sam Brearley.

The Rising Stars Men came away with a fantastic win over Belconnen at Manuka Oval on Saturday morning, taking down the Magpies 9.9.63 to 6.6.42. Angus Jones put in a huge six-goal performance to earn himself a spot as the game's best player.

The First Grade Men's game went down to the wire in a nail biter against the Magpies at Manuka Oval on Saturday afternoon. Both teams were neck and neck until the final siren, when the Magpies pulled away for a seven-point win over the Demons 9.9.63 to 8.8.56. Billy Clarke and Dean Biermann boosted the scoreboard with two goals apiece, landing them in the best players' list, while Alex Wilson was named the Demons' best player with an outstanding performance in the midfield with 17 tackles.

Meanwhile, across town, the Second Grade Women took on Queanbeyan at Gungahlin Oval, going down to the Tigers 0.1.1 to 7.13.55
Rounding out the weekend, the First Grade Women's team took on the Magpies at Manuka Oval on one of the coldest evenings of the year. In another hard-fought game, the Magpies were again victorious 5.1.31 to the Demons' 3.3.21. Meg McLaughlin kicked two goals for the Dees, earning her a mention in the games' best players.
