Thunder players selected in the U14 Qld Country State Team
Will Orford and Reiley Mason have been selected into the U14 Queensland Country State Team to participate at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour from 29th September to 3rd October 2014
Both boys along with Daniel Weber play in the SWQ Thunder U14 NPL team and through weekly identification of players throughout the competition saw them identified to attend the final selection camp in Townsville at the end of June. Daniel was named as a Shadow player in the State Country team.
All boys are presently attending extra training sessions in Brisbane with the Metro Team.
Congratulations to both Will & Reiley of their selection and we wish them a successful and rewarding experience at the Nationals, and to Daniel on his selection as a shadow.
Goalkeeper Reiley Mason was also extended an invitation to attend a Goal Keeping Camp at the AIS in Canberra from 14th-17th August. Congratulations Reiley on this achievement.
