Basketball Australia through the Werribee Basketball Association and our club provide all our players with financial support if injured while participating in basketball activities.

Whether your injury was sustained during competition at a WBA stadium or during a domestic training session at the local school. All injuries are cover as long as the incident has been reported.

Please ensure that an incident that has occurred while in competition needs to be reported to a supervisor or first aid officer, for both an incident report and first aid attendance. This will also be a supportive document towards your insurance claim.

If an incident as occured while at a training session, please ensure that either the coach or team manager has been informed and that they then email the club - hoppersbc@hotmail.com. A new procedure is currently being looked at to provide our members with better support.

Insurance Claim:

If your injuring requires medical attention, please take the neccessary action with your local praticitioner and get both the medical certificate and invoice/s. You can then visit the Basketball Australia website - http://www.vinsurancegroup.com/Basketball/index.html which contains the insurance forms and guidedance to making a claim.
