Cats and dogs have never gotten along and it won’t be any different when the boys from the Brook head down to Warners Bay to take on rivals the Bulldogs. The two teams have always had a fierce rivalry and the Round 6 clash wont be any different, the Cats want to remain undefeated while the Bulldogs will be looking to get back on the winning path.
The Cats can expect a hard opposition and big expectations will be on the boys in the middle to ensure they get the ball up to the firing forward players Howarth, Jono and Beshford. If the ball can get in the forward lines hands they will get it through the sticks.
Can the Cats keep the good times rolling or will the Bulldogs steal away the glory? Only time will tell.
What the Coach Says: “Big week on the training track, the team needs to step up their skills and fitness. Every game will bring some different and it will be challenging only having played 1 game in the last three weeks. Warners Bay will be no push overs especially on their home ground. Game will be tough but I am confident of a strong performance with Tate Barry and Jed Stojakovic coming in across the middle."
Skipper’s words of wisdom: “Another tough away game at Warners Bay awaits. The Cats are up for a fight and keen to keep winning"
Presidents Player in Focus: Michael Duck. "Ducky has put an enormous amount of effort on the training paddock and its showing on the field. Ducky's game has gone to the next level and his contribution to the team this year has been valuable. From the first day Ducky came to the club he has given 110% both on and off the field, he does so much behind the scene, the club couldn't be more appreciative of the job he does"
