The Kittens were caught napping down at the bay with the Marlins jumping out to a 13 point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Cats held on and why they weren’t firing in the forward 50 the midfield and backline did their best to keep them in the competition. The fourth quarter saw the tables turn with the Cats putting on 4 unanswered goals however it wasn’t enough to catch the Marlins and the team saw their first defeat. It was another great showing by the team who are showing plenty of promise for the season ahead.
