Stadium: Weeraman Field
Bounce: 14:00, Saturday 1st August
Last time we met: Rd 7 2014 Cats Won 20.20.140 – 1.0.6
The Cats are in a position they don’t want to be right now sitting 6th on the Ladder. The team needs all the wins they can get in order to make the top 4 and everyone knows that Cats love to Catch Magpies by surprise. This weekend’s game will be a pivotal moment for the Cats in 2015 and hopefully the Cats can get the crowd there on the weekend to get them over the line. The Cats will return home to the Muswellbrook Railway Hotel for their post-match function.
What the Coach Says: “Im still in shock over last weekend’s result, we won’t be taking Wyong to lightly. This competition is pretty weird you just don’t know who you are going to play could be a premier league side. We get Jed, Bencko and Nigel back this week which is the key to our spine so will be an interesting game”
Skippers words of wisdom: “We have an opportunity to turn our season starting with the game against Wyong this weekend. This game will determine what sort of character we really do have”
Presidents Player in Focus: Adam Higham aka Lenny. Adam is playing his first year with the Cats and has provided a lot of drive and execution around the forward line. He shows his versatility to push up in defence when required. I’m sure Adam will be in the mix when the awards are handed out post season.
