Round 2 - Fantastic efforts all round

The Blue U9's did very well today against the Yarra Jets with only the 1 sub it was tough work for them. With 10 mins to go it was 1 all and the girls really just ran out of steam.

Under 11 Joeys - won 2-1

Coach Tom saw improvements in every girl from last week which was so satisfying. Well done to everyone. Really proud and you guys made my whole day! Special well done to Ella for a strong debut and nearly scoring a goal.  Thought for the week for the girls - when we are defending, we have to close down the players from the other team - put them under pressure and don't give them time or room to shoot.

Under 11 Kangas won 2-1
Had a strong game against Eltham.  Lots of pressure from the mids and backline and the building up we have been doing at training really paid off. Great work girls.

Under 12s had a win against Darebin with lots of attacking - they've scored 8 goals already this year

Under 14Cs - came away with another draw at home against Watsonia.  The many opportunities they had up front just alluding them.

Under 14Bs found it tough going against Essendon Royals but scored 2 good goals.  Congrats to Emma Sinclair and Rona Limpacharoenkul.

Under 16s went down aginst a strong Watsonia

Our Under 18s had a bye.
