PRESIDENTS UPDATE
The MEBC met on Wednesday 18 July for the first time since the AGM last month. I am pleased to be able to confirm the current committee:

NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS
The committee is excited to announce that an on-line registration process will be available through Sporting Pulse for the upcoming season. All registrations will be on-line and you may choose, if you wish, to pay on-line or directly by cash or cheque at the stadium.
Registrations will open on line for 2 weeks from August 11- 25. So watch this space for more information and a REGISTER NOW link.
As part of this new process the club is going to offer a “bring a friend” to training night on Monday 13 August for boys and Thursday 16 August for girls. Facilities will be available for members wishing to register on-line and pay cash or cheque on these two nights.
NEW GIRLS CO-ORDIANTOR
Michael Follacchio has taken on the role of girl’s co-ordinator, which is great for the club. He is currently coaching girls in U11’s, 13’s and 15’s so is in a great position to liaise with coaches and construct teams going forward. Jo Di Virgilio and I will assist Michael administratively as part of a handover process this coming season.
VENUE MANAGERS
You may have noticed that we have had Pat Zerna venue managing at Marcellin on Saturdays. Many of you would recognise Pat as he is an A grade referee and has been a referee at Marcellin for a long time. Donna Jenkins has been unwell and we would like to thank Pat very much for his support. I would like to thank some of our senior Referees and club members Jayde and Steph for stepping in to lock up and cover for Pat when he has had to leave to undertake his Big V refereeing commitments.
Welcome back and good luck for the last 6 rounds before finals.
