The exodus of senior player links to the fabulous nineties has come to its conclusion with champion player Jason Caples moving to Croydon in the EDFL to join his former team mate, Ben Delarue.
Champion full forward Shayne Smith, has opted to join Dingley and his old mate Justin Woodman.
We at Scorpland wish them the best of luck and trust they enjoy their new footy homes. Wont be the same without them but the door now opens for the new dynasty led by Steven Harrison, Nigel Carmody & Daniel Rigg. The club leaders are the eldest at Scorpland at age 25 !!
The club continues to sign experienced VFL players in Josh Homann from Sth Fremantle, Steven Brewer from Box Hill, and Ben Cosgriff from Bendigo.
Building and holding this young team together could bring a flag in 2006.

St Kilda have listed some talented players in McGough, McQualter, Gwilt and Mullins who will certainly add depth to the Springvale list when they are not selected for St Kilda.
A return to play home games at Springvale's ground at Newcomen Road is locked in for the 2005 season. The first game of the season will see the Scorpions at home to Tasmania on Saturday, April 2nd at 2.00pm.
