Welcome to Seven Hills Kangaroo's JRLFC

 2018 Season Wrap Up..

We have had a fantastic 2018 season…

This year for the very first time we have an all female executive committee consisting of President- Kylie Annen, Vice President- Jaye Ratcliffe, Treasurer- Ruth Newsome and Secretary- Hayley Buck. We are very proud of this achievement and what it means to the future of our club and women in league.

We fielded a total of 7 teams this season consisting of- Under 6’s, Under 7’s Under 8’s, Under 10’s (division 3), Under 10’s (division 4), Under 13’s (division 3) and A grade. Under 6’s, 7’s and 8’s had a great season. Our Under 6’s skills and abilities have developed over the year. Our Under 7’s and Under 8’s teams are quite competitive and have played all year with determination.

Our Under 10’s (division 3) have always been determined to take out the grand final even with no reserves. They finished the season as Minor Premiers and battled it out with Rouse Hill Rhinos in the Grand finals where they finished as Premiers. Our Under 10’s (division 4) had a good season but unfortunately could not secure a spot in the playoffs when they went head to head against All Saints Toongabbie Tigers. These guys never give up and play with heart.  Our Under 13’s (division 3) had a very rocky first half of the season playing with not enough players week in and week out and no reserves. These guys have true ability and fought until the end unfortunately being defeated by Winston Hills in their final. Our A grade (bronze) had a very hard start to the season with coaching staff changes. The season also seen us battling with injuries and low numbers. Some players never gave up and kept on going till the end. We thank them for their continued efforts.

We would love to thank all our players, families and supporters for such a great 2018 season and we look forward to seeing you all next season. We would also like to thank the committee for all their time and effort. We truly cannot thank you all enough. A huge thankyou to our sponsors your support is greatly appreciated. That’s a wrap!

Our 2019 season is looking to be one of our best yet!
