Each age level (team) is required to do a Friday Night Raffle at the Metropole Hotel. Please read the Raffle Roster and make note of when your team is rostered on to sell Raffle Tickets.more

BLUE CARDS - IS YOURS UP TO DATE?

All position holders at PWJRL are required by law to hold a current WORKING WITH CHILDREN BLUE CARD.

If you are an incoming member of the Committee or you will be holding the position of Coach, Manager, FAO, League Safe or Referee in the 2017 season, please ensure your Blue Card is current.

Completion of the Leaguesafe course is a mandatory minimum requirement for anyone enteringLeaguesafe / Coaching Courses

It has now become an NRL Policy that all personnel over the age of fourteen (14) years who enter the field of play, including water runners, managers, and coaches must possess a League Safe Certificate of Attendance or an accredited NRL Level 1 First Aid Officers Certificate.more

SPECIAL PROJECTS GRANTS - WHITSUNDAY REGIONAL COUNCIL

Whitsunday Regional Council have approved a $20,000 Special Projects Grant to the Proserpine Whitsunday Junior Rugby League Club to convert their storage shed into a clubhouse.more

SPORT & RECREATION FUNDING - WHITSUNDAY REGIONAL COUNCIL

Whitsunday Regional Council have awarded $5500.00 to our club under the Community Assistance Grant - Sport & Recreation Club funding program. As a club we are truly appreciative of the support provided by the Council.more

AUSTRALIA DAY AWARDS 2016

Proserpine Whitsunday Junior Rugby League and Whitsunday Senior Brahmans were awarded the Whitsunday Community Event of the Year at the 2016 Australia Day awards.more

QLD STATE OF ORIGIN FAN DAY

The QLD State of Origin team visited Proserpine on the 30th June for their annual fan day. This event was hosted by the Proserpine Whitsunday Junior Rugby League (PWJRL) and Proserpine Rugby League Football Club (PRLFC).more

"GET GOING" FUNDING

The Queensland Government provided $9250 to Proserpine Whitsunday Junior Rugby League to conduct coaching, first aid and come and try sessions to support rugby league at Proserpine to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.more

PWJRL AWARDED GRANTS

PWJRL have been awarded a Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant worth $35,0000 and the Break Water Island Casino Community Benefit Fund worth $5,000. Both of these grants are very much appreciated. Thank you QLD Government, the GCBF and BICCBF.more

BLOKES & THEIR BOYS' TOYS

Many thanks to all the men & one woman who turned up at the Working Bee to move the goalposts. This will provide a fantastic atmosphere for our club. Now the older teams will be able to train under lights and provide better usage of the limited lighting at the club. We would also like to thank Milltrack for the very generous donation of the concrete for the footings for the goalposts.more
