The Toohey's New Crew arrived in town last week to help with repairs to flood damaged sporting facilities and Anzac Grove. The crew helped a band of volunteers build a new storage shed, create a corporate box and revamp the existing commentators facilities. They replaced the damaged cricket nets and carried out work to Anzac Grove, which included cementing in place 42 posts for the names of the fallen soldiers from the Gundagai District.
The work was carried out regardless of the weather.

It was truely a magnificent effort from many local tradesmen and community minded people who gave their time freely for this worthy cause.
On Saturday night, the "Mock Footy Show" was a resounding success with the crowd in attendance very appreciative of the hard work that went into the organisation of the night.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
