Club History

The Shamrock's Dundas Junior Rugby League Football Club was formed in the mid 1960's as an attachment to St Patrick's Marist college sports auxiliary for the weekend rugby league within the Balmain Junior Rugby League competition. In the mid 1990's the school sports auxiliary ceased to exist.

The club was now looking to also target and attract players from non catholic background.

The club has been a member of the Balmain Junior Rugby League since it's inception in the 1960's and provides for age groups from under 6's to seniors.

Our Club headquarters are at the St Patrick's Marist college Dundas, on the corner of Kissing Point and Kirby streets, Dundas. Our ground boasts some of the most magnificent fields (international and mod) within the Balmain JRLFC and has excellent canteen and change room facilities.

The Shamrock's club draws players from the following suburbs :
Ermington, Rydalmere ,Dundas , Oatlands , North Parramatta, Silverwater, Eastwood , Carlingford , North Rocks and West Ryde,
and Merrylands.
However players are more than welcome from other suburbs.

Current West tiger's player Mark O'Neill is one of several first class player's to emerge from the ranks of the Shamrock's Dundas JRLC.
