Function Room Policy

 

1. Introduction

The Ipswich Knights Soccer Club Incorporated has developed this Function Room Policy, in consultation with the Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors to provide information to Club Officials to ensure that patron and venue safety is of a maximum standard, Office of Liquor and Gaming legislation is adhered to and Ipswich Knights officials have information necessary to inform any potential function room hirer’s.

The Ipswich Knights Soccer Club Incorporated is conscious of its aims and objectives in the development of this Policy. In addition, it seeks to adopt a responsible stance to maximise the return on our Bundamba licensed premises.

2. Reference Documents

The reference documents for the Responsible Gaming Policy are the:Function2

  • Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
  • Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice.
  • QLD Liquor Act 1999.

3. Room Hire Costs

Room hire must be paid on date of booking.

Bond must be paid two week in advance (Function).

21st Birthday Parties

18th Birthday parties. T & C Apply

Alcohol strictly prohibited from being brought into venue – this is a fully licensed premises and alcohol can only be purchased from the bar.

Member: $250.00

Non-Member: $275.00

Bond: $400.00

4. Damage to Facility

Any sustained damage to the Ipswich Knights Facility will see a loss of bond and if significant enough, result in legal action.

5. Policy Review

The Ipswich Knights Soccer Club Incorporated will make such changes as are reasonably necessary to comply with this Policy and the maintenance of a responsible, ongoing revenue stream for the Club.
