Australian Rules Football in Calgary is different from most organised sports in this city. Due to the large size of the field we play on, our teams can range from 15 a side to 18 a side with plenty of substitutions on the bench. This means our teams are never full, and anyone can join our club at any stage in the season.more

Calgary Kangaroos Name Mayor Nenshi as #1 Ticket Holder

On June 11, 2014, members of the Calgary Kangaroos and Calgary Kookaburras boards met with the Honourable Mayor Naheed Nenshi to present him with the certificate of "#1 Ticket Holder". The Mayor agreed to accept the honorary title as the Calgary Kangaroos' top supporter and fan. We hope that he will be able to attend a game or two in 2014 and beyond.more
