AWARDS V Powelltown and Social notes 14/7

he AFL Yarra Ranges League Round 12 of the 2018 season last Saturday saw the Rebels at Rebel Park for the second successive week this time to host Powelltown in two games of football and four games of netball, the under 18s having a League bye. The Showgrounds oval was in great condition although shrouded in fog until around 3pm on a typical Alexandra winter’s day.more

AWARDS and Social Notes V Yarra Glen 7/7

The AFL Yarra Ranges League Round 11 of the 2018 season last Saturday saw the Rebels return to Rebel Park to host Yarra Glen in two games of football and four games of netball with the under 18s also at home to host Gembrook Cockatoo. The Showgrounds oval was in good condition although slippery after overnight and morning rain on a cold winter’s day.more

AWARDS and Social Notes at Yea June 30th

The AFL Yarra Ranges League Round 10 of the 2018 season last Saturday saw the start of the second half of the season as the Rebels travelled to the Yea Tigers lair to challenge in two games of football and four games of netball for the Hedger–Ivey Cup, a trophy instigated to record the contributions by Kevin Hedger and Richard Ivey to their respective clubs and towns.more

Awards and Social Notes June 23rd

The AFL Yarra Ranges League Round 9 of the 2018 season last Saturday saw the Rebels return to Rebel Park and host Kinglake for two games of football and four games of netball on a fine but cold winters day. The ground was in good condition and a good crowd which included many past Premiership players from 2008 were in attendance.more
