An update on a milestone for one of our original netballers at the club, Emma Maycock is playing her 200th game at Werribee Centrals when we play Bannockburn on the 7th June.
Emma is currently in her 13th year at the Werribee Centrals and has been an A Grade player the whole time, expect for one year when she played B Grade after the birth of her first son Charlie in 2009. She also missed playing last season, 2013, after welcoming her second son Sam late last year. In that time she still coached B Grade along side her sister Amanda Nielsen, another respected veteran of our club.
Emma has coached our junior levels previously and also B grade on other occasions. Her fondest memory is winning the 3rd consecutive A grade premiership in 2007. She enjoys being able to spend time with her closest friends each week at training and game days and still after 13 year developing her netball game. Emma can always be found at the games early supporting all grades and is always willing to lend a helping hand and step up when needed.
We wish Emma the best for her 200th game and congratulate her on becoming the first Centurion Netballer to break this milestone! Maybe is it the first in the GDFL ?
