The Werribee Football Club and the Tigers Clubhouse continues to support local football with $50,000 in funds available through the Tigers Community Rewards and an individual sponsorship package for every Aussie Rules club in the City of Wyndham.
The nine clubs are spread across three competitions (WRFL, Amateurs and GDFL).
Each club will receive:
$1000
North Melbourne football jumper signed by Brad Scott & Andrew Swallow
Werribee players or coaches to run clinics for junior teams
1 table at a Werribee President’s Lunch
$500 for after match food & beverage at Tigers Clubhouse
Werribee CEO Mark Penaluna knows all too well the battle for local clubs "Part of our community commitment is to help local clubs as much as we can, and this is a very good package that helps cash flow, with the auction or raffle of the jumper, and the opportunity to entertain some sponsors or even thank some hard workers around the club".
The Werribee Football Club already this year has helped both Glenorden and Sanctuary Lakes with training gear during their pre-season. The club is running a free night for all local coaches to attend to hear Werribee Senior Coach Scott West and our fitness people talk about football and answer any questions.
Werribee is also sponsoring the Western Region Football League under 18,16 and 15s competitions and the Under 15 and 16 interleague programs.
Eligible local players are encouraged to be part of the Morris Barlow Squad next pre-season to try out for the Werribee list.
