Six solid wins for Centrals netballers this round of matches with good performances in all grades as all sides look forward to finals in two weeks time.
A Grade
Werribee Centrals 78 v. North Geelong 21
Werribee Centrals A Grade set themselves up for the win by playing four consistent quarters of quality netball. Centrals A Grade rotated their bench at each quarter with all players on the court performing at their best. Centrals defenders had the game all under control with their many intercepts and rebounds. Centrals centre court provided plenty of drive down the court and worked the ball around and fed some accurate passes into Centrals goalers who all shot with accuracy today. Hard to choose a best on court with all of the A Grade players deserving recognition.
Best: Olivia Mitchell, Emma Maycock, Danni Stewart
B Grade
Werribee Centrals 49 v. North Geelong 42
A close and physical contest with both sides fighting to take control of the game. Tania Redpath and Ellie Tubbs shared the goal scoring whilst at the other end of the court Emma Richards worked hard in defence creating many turnovers in Centrals favour. Natalie Ramsdale led her team well and provided the motivation and drive to ensure Centrals B Grade gained the edge in the final quarter. Centrals B Grade had to work hard for the duration of the game in order to come away with the win.
Best: Tania Redpath, Natalie Ramsdale, Emma Richards
C Grade
Werribee Centrals 53 v. North Geelong 24
Centrals C Grade put in a strong performance all over the court. Hailey Sildatke and Kimberley Genge combined well in goals and managed to put plenty of goals on the scoreboard. Sam Knight & Leigh Stewart took control of the defence end working well together to cause some concern for the North Geelong goalers. Centrals C Grade centre court all worked well together with Olivia Burrow being one of the stand-outs.
Best: Sam Knight, Olivia Burrow, Megan Hill
D Grade
Werribee Centrals 45 v. North Geelong 12
Centrals D Grade took a little while to settle into the game and were only 4 goals up going into the 2nd quarter. With a couple of positional changes made Centrals stepped it up a notch and were able to take control of the game. Paras Mackenzie and Beth Lipscombe were dynamite in defence not allowing North Geelong too many shots at goal. Centrals D Grade rotated their bench and tried out some different combinations which all seemed to work well. A solid win and a great team effort.
Best: Beth Lipscombe, Meg Noonan, Sandy Andrews
U17's

Centrals U17's played a good quality game of netball. Even though Centrals U17's outclassed their opposition all over the court Centrals kept up the momentum right to the final whistle. Centrals U17's put in four quarters of good consistent netball.
Best: Sam Knight, Paras Mackenzie, Alyce Daniels
