Centrals knew this would be a tough round of netball against one of the top clubs in Bell Post Hill where all grades are evenly matched. Centrals needed the wins to ensure they maintained their ladder positions as the club has a tough run home to the finals. It was tough competition all day and centrals came away with some well deserved results.
A Grade
Werribee Centrals 48 v. Bell Post Hill 44
In a closely fought out contest it was Centrals who were able to maintain the pace for the four quarters. Hailey Sildatke played a strong WD game and combined with Danni Stewart ruling the centre court. New Player Carly Post was influential in defence for Centrals and was one of Centrals Best on Court. Centrals were happy to have a good challenge this week which will help them on their tough run home.

B Grade
Werribee Centrals 31 v. Bell Post Hill 25
A great solid team effort this week to come away with the win against top of the ladder Bell Post Hill. Going into the second half Centrals B Grade were four goals down. Centrals re-grouped with Tania Redpath & Amanda Nielson working well together in goals. Carly Post had a great game in defence backed up by Anne Tedesco as WD. Amanda Nielson & Emma Maycock (coaches) very happy
with B Grades performance.

C Grade
Werribee Centrals 39 v. Bell Post Hill 39
Centrals C Grade had a very slow start with no talk on the court and no backing up. With some positional changes made Centrals stepped up the pace and were able to start to creep up on Bell Post Hill. Being down by 6 goals going into the final quarter with only minutes to go Centrals stepped it up another notch and with all seven players on the court were able to come away with a
draw.

D Grade
Werribee Centrals 41 v. Bell Post Hill 37
In a tight match up this week Centrals D grade came out ready for action. With good defensive pressure all over the court and with hands over every ball causing many turnovers in Centrals favour. Lauren Jessup was outstanding in goals with Emma Hounsell they combined well.With all D Grade players trying
their best this week Centrals were happy to bring home the four points.

U17
Werribee Centrals 23 v. Bell Post Hill 21
A close and competitive game for U17's against 3rd on the ladder Bell Post Hill. With some errors made by Centrals U17's it allowed Bell Post to lead the way for the first three quarters. Bethany Lipscombe & Sarah Clarke worked hard in defence against strong opposition. After some positional changes made
going into the final quarter Centrals U17's were able to re-group and come from behind in a hard fought game and come away with a well deserved win.

U15's
Werribee Centrals 41 v. Bell Post Hill 21
Another good game for Centrals U15's with all players putting in 100%. Centrals had a great start to the game and continued to win each quarter. Tylah Hickey did well in WD applying plenty of pressure over the ball. Charlie Buzza took many intercepts allowing Centrals to convert to goals.
