A Grade
Werribee Centrals 54 v. Thomson 14
With plenty of depth on the bench this week Werribee Centrals were able
to rotate and play some good netball for 4 solid qtrs. Centrals defence
worked hard to keep Thomson's shots at goal to a minimum. Mickayla Ward shot
32 goals for Werribee Centrals A Grade and was one of Centrals Best on court.
Best: Mickayla Ward, Danni Stewart, Hailey Sildatke
B Grade
Werribee Centrals 51 v. Thomson 12
A great start to the game with Centrals B Grade working hard to gain a strong
lead. Tania Redpath & Amanda Nielsen worked well in the goal ring in the
first half in windy conditions. Brooke Smith (WA) played a good game this
week feeding well into Centrals Goalers. Renee Digiocchino started off in
GK but then moved into goals in the second half and once again proving herself
in the goal ring. A great game by all players with back-up from all over
the court helping us to come away with an excellent win.
Best: Tania Redpath, Anne Tedesco, Brooke Smith
C grade
Werribee Centrals 51 v. Thomson 6
In windy conditions Centrals C Grade were able to play some good steady
netball. Centrals defence led by Leigh Stewart & Alison Ashley made it hard for
the Thomson Goalers. Centrals were able to turn the ball over many times
which caused a few headaches for the Thomson attack. With all players on
the court giving 100% Centrals were happy to come away with the 4
points and a good percentage booster.
Best: Leigh Stewart, Melinda Dobai, Alison Ashley
D Grade
Werribee Centrals 46 v. Thomson 6
A Strong start today in very windy conditions with Werribee Centrals D Grade
shooting 15 goals in the first qtr. With all 3 goaling combinations working
well Centrals D Grade defenders had a field day today proving to
be too strong for the Thomson goalers.
Best: Shanade Tronson, Laura Gatti, Lauren Jessup
