WABL 2015 end of Season Windup
Hi to all the East Perth Family
Last Friday evening 25th September 2015, East Perth celebrated the end of season for the 2015 Men’s & Women’s WABL season. Accustomed to all seasons were the presentations of player and coach awards and further induction of our Clubs Life Members.
The Board of Management would like to thank the respective Teams for the efforts they have placed into the season, having qualified 9 teams into the finals campaign that proves the club is headed in the right direction and makes East Perth Eagles the great club it is.
Our thanks extends to the Coaches, Assistants, Team Managers, Umpires and Families for both the way they have conducted themselves and for making training, getting to games and showing support to portray East Perth as the Family Club. It’s amazing how big we have grown that even the Wellington room was full of red, blue and white.
Of particular note we as a club would like to recognise the great work that Dani Pickett and Family for all of her support and help with setting up, decorating the room and preparing the food. Really appreciate everything she has done to assist this year.
Thanks to Rae, Steph, Dawn, Tabbatha and everyone who has made this year great. YMCA for all their support during the year, staff assisting on game days and make everything run so smoothly and. I really hope there are no omissions with the countless helpers the club has so humbly apologies if I’ve left someone out.
It’s with great pleasure and congratulations that the following recipients of the MVP and Coaches Award, were crowned at an extremely successful awards night. We also recognise recipients of WABL All Stars and Division MVP’s.

There was also an award given for the Coach of the year, the recipient this year went to the great efforts of Carl Filpo. Our Club person of the year was also recognised, this year the recipient was Rob O’Neil.
The great club of the East Perth Eagles, bases its success on the many volunteers it possess, that said particular individuals are recognised for years of service as a player, volunteer or in the coaching ranks, this year we are extremely proud to induct a further life members that has contributed service for many years, congratulations and thanks go to Russell Campbell.
