The coach manages the players. He/she is responsible for all decisions concerning training and match day tactics. For example, the coach is responsible for choice of training drills and who plays in what position on match day. Coaches appoint captains etc, give awards and focus on building overall team cohesion and spirit as well as each boy's game sense, skills and general football wellbeing.

Coaches need to attain coaching certification as offered by the league - cost covered by the club.

Coaches may also appoint several assistant coaches to assist on training days and one assistant coach to be part of the match-day management team.
