Accessing the $100 Active Kids rebate

The 2019 Active Kids Voucher Programme

As you may be aware, the NSW Government Office of Sport has introduced an Active Kids Voucher Programme that will entitle eligible players who are under 18 years of age (as at 31 December 2018) to a $100 rebate on their 2019 registration fee.

The scheme will commence on 31 January 2019 and will operate as follows in relation to registration with Bowral FC:

  1. Service NSW account - you must either have, or create, a Service NSW account which must be done online via the Service NSW web site.  Click here to access that site.  If you do not yet have an account, you can set that up before 31 January 2019 to be ready to go on 1 February 2019
  2. Account in the name of a parent - you will set up the account in the name of a parent, and the application for the rebate will then be made for each child under the account of the parent.  A parent account can support applications re multiple children as you would expect
  3. Apply for your $100 voucher code - once the scheme is activated, there will be a link within your Service NSW code to apply for the $100 voucher on behalf of each child.  You will be given a voucher code for each child, to use when you register on the Bowral FC web site
  4. Record your voucher code number and go to Bowral FC - once you have the voucher codes, go back to the Bowral FC web site and when you are ready to pay for your annual registration, you will enter the voucher code number, and your fee payable will automatically be reduced by $100
  5. Payment flow - if your registration would normally be say $165, the voucher will reduce that to $65, which will show on your credit card statement +  a credit card fee.  The $100 will then be paid by the Office of Sport to Bowral FC on  your behalf
