The South Eastern (Bushrangers) U16 Club Day Information

The South Eastern (Bushrangers) Talent Program will be holding the U16’s Club Day on Saturday, March the 2nd from 9:30am – 1:30pm at Coorparoo Ovals (Giffin Park).Scott Easdown has been appointed to the Head Coaching role of the U16’s side for the 2013 season. Scott has previously coached the U14’s at the State Championships on four occasions with great success.

Hamish McInnes has been appointed to the newly created role of Talent Program Coordinator and with Scott will work together to ensure we continue delivering our programs at a high standard. The Club Day will consist of two matches – four teams of 15 = 60 players.

We currently have 70 players training in the U16’s Summer Program squad – this number will be reduced to around 40 in preparation for the Club Day. When this has been done we will notify all clubs on who has been selected in the 40 from their respective clubs.

We take in to consideration there are players currently unavailable due to other sporting commitments so they will be invited to the Club Day. We also want to be thorough in our selection process so will be in communication with clubs on players they think have missed out that should be considered. This end number may be a little greater or smaller than 60 but will give us the core group from which the Bushrangers U16’s squad will be picked. This process allows us to be diligent with our selection of the 40 and increases the clubs in put and buy-in by having a say on who they think should be considered.

If you have any questions regarding this process please contact Hamish McInnes on the details below:

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
