Information

The Ginninderra Rats Basketball Club is committed to supporting participation from players of all ages in the sport of basketball. The fees we collect are to cover the player registration fees levied by BACT to pay for court facilities, competition organisation, insurances and membership.

The Club seeks to keep playing fees as low as possible and works hard to raise funds to enable us to do this. However, the Club does not however have the resources to enable individuals to play without paying any fees. This is both unfair to other players and unsustainable.

Basketball ACT offers community Clubs the option to participate in its competitions, with facilities, referees, administration and insurance cover provided by BACT. Clubs are required to register each team that participates to pay for these services. The following fees per player enable the Ginninderra Rats to register each team in BACT competitions for an entire season.
