The new season is here and it's that time again to start training !!! Tuesday 20th January at Richard Prouse Park for a 6.30pm start.
This year we have new coach's for the 1st and 2nd team. We would like to welcome Graham Watson who has years of experience and Alan Broadhurst who was the coach for our 2nd team last year. Everyone is welcome to come along on Tuesdays and Thursdays.more

400th 1st Team appearances for Ralph Chenery

This Sunday Ralph Chenery will play his 400th game for Wainuiomata AFC. This is a huge achievement and the 1st in our club!!! 4 to 6 Year old First Kicks

Our primary focus is on engaging with coaches who can demonstrate an ability to fill lead coaching roles for our Men’s teams in Capital One and Capital Four.

2013 Pre season and coaching information

The club is pleased to announce the new appointment of Scotty Murphy as our Premier 1st team coach assisted by Rob Bennett for the 2013 season.
The Men's 2nd team will be coached by Rob Bennett who successfully coached our 2nd team last year by winning promotion to Division 3.

Men's pre-season dates will begin with a kick around and BBQ on Saturday January 12th at 10.30am, with pre season to start on Tuesday January 15th 6.15pm and every Thursday and Tuesday following this date. Also every Saturday at 9.30am.
For the Women's pre-season starts Wednesday 30th January 6.15pm - 8.00pm.

Wainui Ziggy'z promoted to Div 1 for 2012

We would like to congratulate the Wainui Ziggy'z womens 1st team for coming 2nd in Div 2 in 2011 and getting promoted to Division 1 for next years league. What a great year for this team with alot of hard work and determination they have managed to go from being in Division 3 at the start of the year and winning this division and getting promoted to Division two for the 2nd round. They also made it to the cup final at Wakefield but lost this in penalties. Congratulations to all you ladies and to the coaches Adam and Josh.


Promotions for 2011

Congratulations to all teams that were promoted for next years League. To Halfbaked who have had a great year and getting promoted to Division 14 and also making it to the Cup Final. Our Capital 17 team also were promoted this year and will start off in Capital 16 next year. The 2nd's team worked extremely hard also and ended up 4th on the table at the very end it was a close battle but unfortunately they just missed out on promotion. Well done to everyone and we hope you have enjoyed your year of footy.
