The Premiers and Development team have finished their season.
Applying pressure straight from the kick off, George Suri was just wide from a Dan Morgan-Howell cross and Dan Peat, after breaking through the defence, shot over the bar. Two minutes later, Joe Bresnahan missed a sitter putting his shot over from point blank range.
The opening goal came in the tenth minute when Morgan-Howell broke down the left, beat his marker and cut the ball back to Bresnahan who powered a low drive past the keeper.
Two minutes later a defensive error allowed Hibiscus Coast a rare opportunity in front of goal but this was butchered by Chris Smart.
Goal number two arrived in the 16 th minute when a Leigh Kenyon pass found Peat who was too quick for his marker and slotted his shot into the far corner of the net again giving the keeper no chance.
Kenyon was himself denied by the keeper before the goal of the game which came just after the half hour. Glen Forrest had been making breaks down the right flank most of the game, this time he carried on, cut in slightly and curled a cross wide of the keeper and into the far corner of the net.
Hibiscus on the back foot for most of the half, had been defending desperately and conceding a number of corners. With four minutes remaining, a Kenyon corner dropped on the head of Suri and he made no mistake from close range.
With a half time lead of four goals, it was hard to keep the intensity, but Bays continued to dominate. Jason McKeown had a strike well saved by the keeper before Peat was put through by Morgan-Howell. He easily outstripped the defence before rounding the keeper and rolling the ball into an unguarded net.
Bays continued to press and goal number six arrived in the 69th minute when a Morgan-Howell cross caused and under pressure defence so much trouble they could only put the ball into their own net.
The last twenty minutes saw both Peat and McKeown come close but there was no addition to the score.
