6th Grade runners up at Three Kings

ECBAFC 6th Grade Eagles are the only team to have made the final in two consecutive Auckland wide tournaments. Three Kings United put on a great tournament on Sunday. The eight young stars went through three games of pool play and their semi final with only conceding one goal and scoring 18. By the final, all eight players had given their best but for many of them this was to be the 9th game that they had played inside of 30 hours due to a previous day’s club tournament.

The final was a true struggle and an unfortunate penalty (with no goalie) broke the deadlock. Three Kings took the lead and ended up scoring a second just prior to the final whistle. The 6th Graders can hold their heads high in coming runners-up! Thanks again to the parents for your great encouragement and support and to the boys, Blake Davies, Harrison Dietrich, Stephanos Georgiou, Daniel Malik, Aiden McCarthy, Andres-Felipe Quintero, Matthew Skilton and Dillan Smith… you’re the best 6th Grade team in Auckland! From your coach and manager Ross and Aaron
