Junior teams off to a great start

The tournament season has started for our junior teams and East Coast Bays started well in a series of age group tournaments held on 15 July. Matt Hitchcock"s 7th Grade team won the Fencibles tournament. 9th Grade coached by Kevin Amey and John Kitchener, in the absence of George Suri who has been called up by the Solomon Islands for a tour of the Pacific, won the Clarrie Morgan Memorial Tournament with the 9th grade 3rd team making the semi-finals. Michael Bell"s 10th Grade side won the Birkenhead Rep Tournament while Richard Lockwood"s 10th grade team won the Birkenhead Cup Tournament.
