The Premiers and Development team have finished their season.
Bays were on the attack right from the whistle and a long throw from Dan Morgan-Howell almost ended in an own goal with the Glenfield defender very happy to see his mis-directed header shaving the upright for a corner. Dan Peat also saw his shot well saved by the Glenfield keeper.
Against the run of play, Glenfield took the lead in the 19th minute when Mark Foster latched on to a loose ball in the Bays penalty area and drove it into the net.
Bays were back on level terms five minutes later when a Ryley Webster free kick found Ryan Zoghby who sent his header just inside the post and wide of the keeper.
From then on play became fairly scrappy with neither side giving anything away. Morgan-Howell saw his corner kick headed off the line and Peat was again foiled by the keeper.
With the last moments of the first half unfolding, the Bays defence again went to sleep, losing control of the ball and Richard Beard was on hand to et the final touch and put the ball into the net giving the visitors a 2-1 half time lead.
Eight minutes into the second half, Shaun Van Rooyen equalised for Bays with a low drive and for the next twenty minutes it was trench warfare and neither side was gaining any ascendancy.
Bays should have taken the lead with just over 15 minutes remaining when Peat was gifted the ball due to a bad clearance by the Glenfield keeper, but with the goal at his mercy, he shot wide.
Bays really plied on the pressure in the last ten minutes but Zoghby, Nick Hyde and George Suri was either denied or just wide.
