The Premiers and Development team have finished their season.
Bad defending and composure in front of goal cost Bays in their catch-up game against Forrest Hill Milford under lights at Becroft Park on Tuesday night.
Bays started brightly, with Dillon Barnett having the first strike after two minutes, putting his effort wide, Dan Peat did similar three minutes later, then Andrew Mobberley chipped the keeper but the ball just went over the crossbar.
Forrest Hill got into the game with a couple of off-target chances before Bays should have opened the scoring when Mobberley got clear but blasted his shot well over the crossbar.
It proved to be a costly miss as Forrest Hill hit back. Jordan Carter cleared off the line before the defence failed to stop a second attack from which Ryan de Vries scored, giving the home side the lead.
It was back and forth until five minutes before the break when de Vries latched on to a cross from the left to notch his second goal, giving Forrest Hill a 2-0 lead at the break.
The second half was an even affair with both teams creating chances but failing to capitalise.
Lee Robinson headed off the line with ten minutes remaining and Forrest Hill missed a good chance, moments later.
With time running out, Bays broke out of defence, Barnett threaded a pass to Stansfield, who scored with a low drive. The final minutes saw a slightly panicked Forrest Hill hold on to their advantage and take the points.
