Northern Football Federation Community Awards for 2016

Northern Football Federation (NFF) is proud to announce its first annual Federation Community Awards to acknowledge the valuable contributions made by its affiliated clubs and members.

NFF is sending out a "Call for Nominations" to all affiliated club and members to acknowledge the valuable contributions that are made by the volunteers in our community!

The award categories for 2016 are:

? Community Coach of the Year
The Community Coach of the Year award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to community coaching. The award is open to all volunteers who give their time within the community space and includes only coaches who operate in the NFF only leagues (this excludes metro/combined and cross federation leagues).

? Community Referee of the Year
The Community Referee of the Year award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to community refereeing. The award is open to all volunteers who officiate within the community space and hold a Club Based Referee (CBR) Accreditation and includes only those who are not part of the official Referee Appointments Process.

? Volunteer of the Year
The Volunteer of the Year award acknowledges a volunteer who shows passion and commitment to football within the Federation that exceeds expectations. This award is designed to recognise the valuable contribution that volunteers make in their community. The award is open to any club or school volunteer (board or committee member, club stalwart, ground staff, clubrooms volunteer or any other volunteer who puts their time into the club or school).

? Outstanding Contribution to Football
The Outstanding Contribution to Football award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to community Football within the Federation over the past season. The award is open to clubs/schools/officials/volunteers with the recipient having demonstrated commitment and passion towards the Football community over the season.

? Outstanding Contribution to Futsal
The Outstanding Contribution to Futsal award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to community Futsal within the Federation over the past season. The award is open to clubs/schools/officials/volunteers with the recipient having demonstrated commitment and passion towards the Futsal community.

Any person that meets the award eligibility criteria may be entered for consideration. Eligible entries are for achievements, stories or contributions that take place between 1 January and 31 August in the current year. Nominations close 5pm, 31 August 2016!
