RIP Jane Jepson

Club members were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Jane Jepson recently while on a visit back to her family in Sheffield. Jane along with friend Gloria, ran the kitchen and tuck shop at Bays for several years and she and husband Mick were first team sponsors for some time. Her oldest son, Ian, also played for East Coast Bays Premier side.

After her time with Bays, Jane moves to Kerikeri wher she opened a cafe but continued her interest and support of Bays.

Diagnosed with kidney cancer last December, Jane returned to the UK to visit her relatives, she was to have a procedure while over there but died on the operating table due to an undiagnosed heart condition.

The club and the members extends our love and condolences to Mick, sons Ian, David and James, and sister Mandy along with the other family members we never had a chance to meet.
