Dan Morgan-Howell sees action in Abu Dhabi

Dan Morgan-Howell finally got a run for Auckland City in the FIFA World Club Championships at Abu Dhabi and played a major role in setting up the winning goal for Riki Van Steeden as Auckland upset African club champions TP Mazembe 3-2 to take fifth place in the tournament.

Coming on a a substitute at half time, Morgan-Howell was prominent in many of the attacking moves as well as defending

against the African side who dominated the game. After playing for the youth team in last seasons NZFC, Morgan-Howell has graduated to

to the top team although he has yet to see significant game time. He is not the only Bays player in the NZFC this season with

Shaun Van Rooyen and Dan Peat part of the eight strong North Harbour contingent playing for Waikato.
