About our Club

Moore Park Tigers Junior Australian Football Club works towards two core values:

  • to provide AFL skill development in a fun and safe environment
  • to build community

We are a friendly, family-oriented club with players aged between 5 and 17 coming from all over the Inner Sydney suburbs and Sydney South and East.  We pride ourselves on our high standard of coaching, and have a dedicated group of volunteer, AFL-accredited coaches (and welcome more coaches to come join us).

Moore Park Tigers fosters our players' enthusiasm for the game while developing a culture of fair play and sportsmanship.

In the event of wet weather, before heading to the games, check Wetweathercheck.com, particularly if you are playing Away. Type the name of the ground in, then click the ground name.

For wet weather updates for Bat & Ball Oval, check Centennial Parklands app, for their 'Sports Field Status', look for 'Moore Park' > 'Bat & Ball Oval'.  Or ring the Centennial Parklands Wet Weather line on 02 9339 6670. On gamedays, you can also check Wetweathercheck.com.

If the ground is OPEN, then training, and/or the game, is ON. (If it's raining, and OPEN, enjoy a rare opportunity to play in wet conditions - and pack a towel for the trip home. Have fun!)
