2017 Ipswich Cats Golf Day

The 2017 Ipswich Cats Golf Day is on 9th July at the Karana Downs Golf Club. The main event will be the 4 Man Ambrose with plenty of other prizes up for grabs including longest drive & nearest to pins. You don't have to be a golfer to join in the FUN. Woodcrest School - AFL School of Excellence Program

In 2017, Woodcrest State College have introduced AFL as a school of excellence subject. It is the first excellence program of its kind within the Ipswich region and 1 of 12 schools in Queensland that have this type of program.more

Roys Rookie's Fixture Released

Roy's Rookies draw has now been released. Featuring 6 clubs & 9 teams all teams will be playing at the same place at different clubs each week with the Under 8's playing afterwards. This is going to be great introduction to Footy for our Boys & Girls.more

A Big Weekend of Footy at Home

We finally took over the clubhouse with our first home games being played over the weekend. All of our youth teams played and our Old Cats the Masters also played on Saturday night. Friday night was a great night for footy in cool conditions with two games played in great spirit and two more youth games on Sunday morning.more

2017 Jersey Presentation

Last Tuesday night our club held our Annual Jersey Presentation Night featuring two players from the Brisbane Lions. Over 90 players were in attendance to receive their jerseys and have photos with the Lions.more

Registrations Still Open for Junior teams U6 - U11

The Junior competition will be commencing 29th April & we will be fielding Junior teams in the Roy's (under 6), Under 8's & Under 10's divisions. If you are interested in playing please contact the club.more

Roy's Footy Registrations Now Open

Roy's Junior Footy is here with registrations now open. This program offers a modified game of AFL for 5 - 7 year olds where it is all about fun and participation.more

Second Round Reports for Youth Teams

The second week of the grading games for our youth teams took place over the weekend. The Under 14's had the week off due to the wet conditions. The recently merged team of the Under 17 Girls with the Beenleigh Buffaloes played along with the Under 16 boys.more

First Round Reports for Youth Teams

The much anticipated first round of grading games commenced at the weekend in rainy & muddy conditions with all team playing on the northside of Brisbane.more

The Club welcomes our new Care Taker President, Doug Meagher. Doug brings to the club, extensive football experience across a number of roles & clubs that will lead the Club into the future.more

Masters Draw Release (Over 35's)

The Ipswich Cats Masters Team for Over 35's Draw has been released. The teams every fortnight across a variety locations in South East Queensland commencing on the first week in April. The Masters competition is all about fun. New players are always welcome.more

The Masters season commences in early April. This competition is for the Over 35's who enjoy their footy with players across all age groups and fitness levels. The team is always on looking for new members so if you are interested please contact Ray Flux on 0418 983 184. Training is at your pace with sessions available on Tuesday & Thursdays from 5:30pm.more

"Get Started" Vouchers

The next round of "Get Started" Vouchers opens on 25th January. These vouchers provide assistance for eligible families to help with the cost of sporting participation to the value of $150 per player. Our Club accept these vouchers.more
