The Wynnum Vikings Clubhouse is available to all members and non-members to hire out for functions. Previous events include birthdays of various ages, bucks parties, wedding receptions, farewell parties, ladies only afternoons, trivia nights and award presentation nights.
Below is a list of general Terms & Conditions which apply to ALL functions. Payment of the hall hire fee is taken as acceptance of these terms.
- Hall hire fees: $200 for Viking players and their families, $350 for non-Viking members. This must be paid prior to the event start time.
- Includes upto 2 bar staff and standard cleaning*
- Includes use of existing tables and chairs
- Licensed venue - strictly no BYO.
- Licensed to midnight - last drinks served at 11.45pm and everyone must be off premise by 12.30am.
- Welcome to hire a DJ/juke box/karaoke machine. www.superjuke.com.au have hired juke box and karaoke machines to us in the past.
- Decorations are welcome however we ask no table confetti/rice be used as the vacuum cleaner does not like them.
- No ATM but we do have EFTPOS facilites (including cash out at no charge)
- For all functions under 21st birthdays we require 1-2 security personnel to be present. You will need to organise this separately and at your own expense. We do not currently have a company that we prefer to use. Security personnel must be from a licensed company and not a family or friend member. We require their details prior to the day of the event.
- We have standard kitchen equipment available for use, gas hob, oven, deep fryer, bain-marie.
- Cold items (incl platters and cakes) can be placed in our cold room.
- We have a range of drinks available to purchase on the night. These include beer, wine, spirits, pre-mixed spirits, soft drinks and juices. A full list can be provided on request.
*If excess cleaning is required, this will be charged at $60/hr. All damages/breakages to be covered separately as applicable.
