On Wednesday night, September 24, during the NFL Presentation night, Panton Hill Football Club was honoured by the Northern Football League in being awarded the NFL Senior Club of the Year in front of the whole NFL community.
This award is a credit to our committee, our coaches, team managers, our supporters, our players and not just for this year but also for the hard work and vision of all involved since first entering the Diamond Valley Football League in 1997.
Panton Hill has had the support over the years of many incredibly capable and talented people who committed themselves to work towards the goal of making Panton Hill Football Club the professional outfit it is today.
The culmination of that long term commitment is receiving this award.
From humble beginnings and overwhelming odds upon entering the DVFL as well as facing the daunting task of competing with the big city clubs, we find ourselves today being honoured amongst our peers as the NFL Senior Club of the Year .... a remarkable achievement !
Congratulations to all of you who have contributed in some way over the last 17 years and longer, to making Panton Hill Football Club, the number 1 Club in the Northern Football League !
Regards,
Eric Grimshaw.
