SENIORS
Panton Hill kicked the first 6 goals of the game before Reservoir could score which made the going very tough for the home side despite all their efforts for the rest of the game. The match could have been put beyond doubt by The Hills in the second quarter with the ball spending plenty of time in the forward line but a poor return of 3 goals 7 behinds demonstrated some poor kicking at goal. Reervoir clawed back a goal in the thrid and fourth terms but with goals going both ways they were never a real threat to the Redbacks. Panton Hill stalwarts Ben Strongman and Will Box were terrific down back whilst Lloyd Toffolon and Tim Duckworth enjoyed the open expanses of the Reservoir ground and did plenty of work through the middle and on the wings. Ben Finnin was the best up forward although the goals were spread around and a special mention to Jayson Darcy-Molloy who played a very solid game in his first game back after a terrible facial injury suffered in the frist game of the season. Next week is a bye with the players receiveing a well deserved rest.
RESERVES
The Hills couldn't handle the run and skill of a high quality Reservoir side and finished with a 4 goal loss. Better players on the day included Daniel Pratt, Shannon-Darcy Molloy, Adam Anderson, Brett Fitzmaurice and Dave Varano.
