Preliminary Final Squad Named

The Knights squad is starting to stabilise and for the first time this season there were no forced changes at the selection table. There are, however, still four fresh inclusions into the side who are all a chance to line up at 11:10am on Saturday at MC Labour Park.

Squad For Qualifying Final Against Power Named

The Knights are showing faith in their U/16 brigade by naming five of them on an extended bench for the Qualifying Final against the Gippsland Power. Michael Brunelli is on the return from suspension while the only forced changed is Nyaburu Kelly, who suffered an ankle injury in the Round 18 clash against Geelong.

Round 18 Squad vs. Geelong

With a Top 4 spot on the line against the Falcons this week the Knights have only made a few changes. Brunelli will be missing one game through suspension, however Quinton was cleared of his charge at the tribunal while Bongetti received a severe reprimand. Dylan Grimes comes back into the team for his second game of the season and is one of five U/16 players named for the Knights. Click here for full squad.more

Round 17 Squad vs. Bendigo

Patrick Veszpremi will miss this weekend with a shoulder complaint, but is only expected to miss one game. Under 16 Vic Metro Co-Captain Jaryd Cachia will make his debut after being named on the half forward flank, while AIS/AFL Scholarship holder Tom Hill is in the mix to play his first game after being named on an extrended bench.

With school football commitments finished for the year the Knights have a near full strength side, with only a handful of injured players missing from the team.

UPDATE: Knights Round 15 Squad vs. Sandringham

The Knights have some gaps to fill after suffering a couple of injuries last week. Most notably, Captain Jack Grimes will be sitting this one out after pulling up sore last week, while Matthew Quinton, Pece Micevski, Luke Simpson and Steven Kelly also sustained injuries.

Round 14 Squad vs. Bushrangers

Two players are in line for debut with the Knights after being named on an extended bench. Jarrod Fitzgerald was added to the Knights squad just this week and is in the mix to play his first game, while James McInerney is looking to make his debut.

Round 12 Squad vs. Oakleigh

A week before the Vic Metro representitives all return the Knights will also be without the TAC Cup's leading goal kicker, Tim Bongetti, who suffered a slight setback at training during the week, while Adam Woodhams will be on the sidelines for some time after an ankle injury against the Ranges in Round 11. Tindarra Hood is another out with U/16 Vic Metro commitments.
